WHO WE ARE

Chinatown 808 is a nonprofit organization, 501(c)(3), comprised of dedicated volunteers that are best known for putting on the Night In Chinatown Festival for Chinese New Year as well as the Dragon Festival in Aala park.

Our officers and directors are current and former members of the Honolulu Chinese Jaycees as well as other Junior Chamber International (JCI) Hawaii chapters.

They also serve the community as part of the United Chinese Society, Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, See Dai Doo Society, Tsung Tsin Association, Ket On Society and many others, reflecting the deep ties we have with Honolulu’s Chinatown.

Like many others, we share the concerns about the great challenges facing the district, which have only grown during Covid-19.

It is our hope to bring not only more attention and support to the businesses and residents there, but help set this historic and cherished part of Honolulu on the path to restoration and prosperity.
